Excellent live music with acts like Andy Wilkinson and Andy Hedges, as well as performances by Phlip Coggins when he comes back home to Lubbock from Austin. The food is good and the wines are affordable. With the connection to McPherson winery you know you're shopping local, and specifically supporting locals who support other locals. The back room is available free of charge during the week for large groups.

This is the place I go for fancy date nights. It NEVER disappoints - and the live music on the weekends sometimes puts me back in Paris. Allison was my server recently, she is by FAR the best. This is definitely the place to be to splurge on an occasion or for yourself - or maybe some girl time on the couch with some sangria and a spread.

Beautiful quirky bar and tapas place. It's a good place for a date, with plenty of antique shops and other walkable shopping nearby. Excellent wine selection. Our waiter knew his stuff when he recommended a red to go with our sardines tapas.

The decoration is fantastic, which is unique in Lubbock. I wish they would open earlier. I would like to spend more time when I go there. Moreover, the dishes are delicious.

The Sunday brunch food is ordinary and nothing special, the kitchen seems to run out of exciting stuff if you have a reservation for later hours and there is a lack of vegan/vegetarian options. The music and interior is worth coming to this place for in Lubbock.

The décor is eclectic and fun and so cool. The food absolutely delicious. Try the pork belly tacos and the meatballs. Both entrees are to die for...and the side salads are different and delicious.

One of the best places to eat in Lubbock. Great ambiance. Well portioned tapas for a reasonable price. Good wine too.

Great ambiemente. Mediterranean Salad, with chicken was tasty but also small and that made it pricey.

Our favorite way to eat here is order one dish at a time and share. Really turns a ordinary dinner into an experiance. Some nights the live music is a bit loud and makes conversation difficult.Edit: Brunch on first sunday of the month is fantastic.

Went here after attending a graduation as a dinner. It's a wine and tapa place. The tapas were all really good. A lot of their wines on the menu only came in a bottle, so I went for the Sangria pitcher. The AMBIANCE was great. Very artsy! I loved it. It was my favorite part of the place. Service was okay. Theres a 5$ cover charge. I wasn't aware at the time till the hostess told me.

Stumbled upon this place by accident and fell in love! The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing lunchtime snack or intimate date night! The shrimp cocktail was phenomenal and their Sangria & Aperol Spritz were delish! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Absolutely looooove the space! The couches are so comfy!

We definitely will! My wife graduated from Tech and everytime we head back to Lubbock, La Diosa is our first stop (besides our hotel of course). Our other favorite stop was Sazon. Not sure why they closed down. With that being said, PLEASE don't go away, La Diosa!

Loved the vibe of this place. Spacious but with plenty of tables and performance space. The menu was overwhelming! So many tapas looked good. The three we tried were all excellent. I will be back to try the others!

La Diosa is wonderful and is perhaps my favorite restaurant in Lubbock. By far the best atmosphere of any restaurant in the city. Coming here makes me feel like I've been transported to a historical area in a large metropolitan city. Atmosphere aside, the food, wine, and service are wonderful, as well. If you have not been here, it is absolutely worth checking out.

Have been visiting this establishments for lunch frequently. Do not miss their Jazz Brunch sundays. A pitcher of mimosas (3-4 servings is $11). Beautiful Frida Kahlo inspired art throughout. Reservations recommended. Excellent service.

Would you like to pay $12+ for 2 tacos? Or $14+ for 5 meatballs? Would you like to pay a $5 music cover to only be put in the back room where no live music is heard, just the music they play over the speakers? Then come on down to La Diosa Cellars. Seriously, there are so many other better places in Lubbock, don’t make the mistake of coming here.

Great to find a Tapas restaurant in Lubbock, Texas. The ambiance is relaxed, with a worldly collection of art. The seating is mixed with tables and sofas. I loved the eclectic feeling. If your looking for a bit of culture, go. You won't regret!

This is one of my favorite places in Lubbock. The tapas are amazing and the service is better. They are so friendly and personable. Also, even if you don't like wine, their Sangria and wine cocktails are great. Check this place out!

I met friends to listen to a guitar group and relax. The band was delightful, a $3.00 cover, but worth it. We all ordered food and shared. The spicey meat balls and pizza were delicious, and the fruit, cheese and meat platter was perfect to finish with. The atmosphere was awesome. We sat next to where the band was playing and the music was the perfect volume. You could carry on a conversation without yelling and still enjoy the music. The food was a bit pricey but worth it for a special evening with friends.

I actually liked the service. The atmosphere was quite chill and had a variety of seating arrangements to fit your vibe. From regular table dining to bougie beardman' castle lounge? 😂😁 Just a real nice space and some really nice wine selections albeit few (which is based on demand of course).

We went on a Saturday night and it was busy. Getting things organised took a little time but we were seated at the bar after a short wait. We both ordered the risotto which was delicious and our server, Olivia, was lovely. For those who have enjoyed tapas in Spain this is not tapas - it is much bigger and would constitute a light meal. They have some nice wines and cocktails and the ambience is upbeat. Well worth a try.

When you set the standard high, you have to live up to it. Unfortunately, there were key elements missing that caused La Diosa Cellars to miss the mark. The atmosphere is incredible, the food sounded promising, and we had heard good things. When you come in with a party, you expect to eat your food together, but three out of five in our party were served while two were left to wait. The last two plates came out well after the first three we're finished. The food was good for the most part, however, the pastry with chorizo was lacking salt and fell short in comparison to the other dishes. The drinks were good, but we never got asked if we wanted more. Maybe they were understaffed, maybe they were busy, but I hope the next time we come it'll be better. It definitely is good enough to come back for a second chance though. Lubbock needs more places like La Diosa, but they need to do some evaluations.

WOW! Our party of 5 showed up tonight and most of the tables had been reserved for larger parties, however they found a small table for us with wonderfully comfortable chairs. We ordered 8 items on the menu and they were all phenomenal. Our server Macy was attentive and friendly. She made our experience a memorable one! We will definitely be back!
